Boot Issues
Hi, Ive just been repartitioning my SATA hard drive, and reinstalled xp
etc however now when I boot up I get a screen full of a's in various colours and cannot read anything on the screen. On other occasions it starts up fully okay with english as it should, and goes fully into XP fine, but after a few minutes the graphics go shades of pink and wavy and the display goes blank for millisecounds of time. All the settings for the graphics card in the BIOS and XP appear on the surface to be okay. Is this my graphics (AGV) card failing ? |

Boot Issues
I've seen that symptom be almost anything. Mostly
the monitor cable. Give it a wiggle .. usually corroded, broke, or bent pins in the connector. johns |
