what is the main difference between the Intel chipset 875 et 865.

i want to upgrade to a P4 3Ghz and was looking at those 2 board but dont
know wich one to get

Asus P4C800-E DELUXE and Asus P4P800 Deluxe

any suggestions??

There is no difference. Some would say the 875 offers better memory
performance, but that is specific to the motherboard, not the chipset. In
other words, there may be no difference at all. If both motherboards have
the features you are looking for, buy the cheaper one. -Dave

The P4C800E-Deluxe is more stable, has fewer reported user
problems/conflicts, has more features, and runs 5%faster due to its 875
chipset.
