USB Pins...again
I have a LIan -Li caes and a Gigabyte 8KNXP...from reading prior posts
I think I have the USB pin business figured out with the 2 sets of pins coming from the front USB ports for a total of 9 pins. Now, according to the advice I have seen I have a conflict. One post has said that the one set of pins goes on the bottom row of 4 pins on the motherboard and the other row on the top row of 5 pins on the motherboard. The problem is, as I read it, is that my grouping of 4 pins should go on the top and the grouping of 5 on the bottom based on the USB1 USB2 etc...however, the row of 5 pins is on the top, not the bottom. If I keep all the polarities correct, is there any problem if I put the USB 2 where the USB 1 row goes and vice versa in order to keep the wiring group with the extra pin labeled 'shield' on the top row on the motherboard with 5 pins?
