Default Nero 6 and overburning problem

Hi,
I just installed Nero version 6, and then tried to burn 825mb of data onto a
90min CDR.
My CDRW is a Plexwriter SCSI version 12/10/32S.
I enabled overburning to 90min in Expert Features of Nero, and changed the Red and
Yello marker settings accordingly in General. Then clicked on the Burn icon, but Nero
tells me that there is not enough space to burn on the CDR. Disc Information tells me
that the 90min CDR is only 79.57 min/703mb.

Help please, what have I forgotten to do?

Thanks

I had the same problem burning 699MB or 700MB to a 700MB CD.
This would seem to be a bug in version 6.0.015
I reverted to version 6.0.0.11 and had no problem.

You can only fit 790MB of data on a 90min CD-R.

That's because the disc itself claims to be a 700Mb blank (required by the
Standard, I think). That's normal. To burn 800Mb on 99min disc for
example, you have to overburn. The disc reports as 80min, but the "99min"
in the cover just says "it's safe to overburn up to 99min with this disc".

Thanks to you all for the help/info etc, but after reverting back to version
5.5.10.42, and enabling overburn etc as before, Nero is still telling me that the CDR
is not big enough to burn more than 700 mb of data.
The CDR is a Datawrite 90min.

Any ideas please?

Have you checked the specs on the drive. Is it capabile of burning or
reading a 90min disk. The size is above the specs in the book.
