Default **** service from Dell

I bought a Dell printer as a re[lacement for my ageing 880 but thought
I might as well use up the ink in the old one first

Then I found ouit that the printer doesn't work - reason a faulty ink
cartridge - Dell refuse to replace the faulty cartridge as it is
'outside the 30 day warranty which starts from date of invoice' by 2
days - exactly how long it took to deliver it !

Comments other than avoid Dell

I gave up on Dell soon after I got a Pentium 133 from them back in
'95. They were and are an absolute shower.

If you gave them up in '95, how do you know they are still an absolute
shower?

My brother-in-law has used them and has had issues. He didn't ask me
first. QED.
