Default Having problems in my local area network due....

Hello guys.
Is it possible that because my mobo P4P800 has an onboard 1Ghz NIC, the
conection bettewn my pcs is a bit weird? Like to slow from another pc that
has a 100Mhz NIC to see the shared files.
Do i have to use too identical in terms of speed NICs? Like two 100Mhz or
1Ghz?
Thanks
Carlos

When you are convinced it might be the onboard...you might wanna try
a pci NIC card.
