CD Writing
Hi
im not sure if this is the right forum. I just bought a 52x cd writer, but so far i can only write audio cd's at 4x. It comes up with the error "CAn only write at 4x because the data source is too slow" Why is this? I can write data and mp3 cd's at 40x. I have checked all the settings and cant see anything wrong. If i only put one track on the cd it burns quickly (40x) I am using Nero Express. I have 600mhz cyrix and 64 mgs of ram. thanks |

I could be wrong, but think it'd be helpful to install more memory anyway if you'll be using the system regularly. Dave |

Good call.If it's an older Cdrom drive as a source some can only read audio at slower speeds even if their normal data speed read is higher. In this case it's better to use the faster Cdr/w drive to do both operations. -- Free Windows/PC help, It's a G not a J in jmx to reply http://www.geocities.com/sheppola/trouble.html Free songs download, http://www.soundclick.com/bands/8/nomessiahsmusic.htm |
