Default Intel 875PBZ

I am looking at running this board with the 3.0ghz processor, I am
interested in running a Koolance water cooled system. I was wondering if the
board will allow running without the CPU fan attached.

So long as the core temperature is below the maximum, the processor will
function. The temperature sensor for controlling the CPU is built into the
processor and not in the fan circuit although the HSF provided with the boxed
processors has its own fan control.
