Default No PnP BIOS Setting missing SE7505VB2

Hi,

I've an Intel SE7505VB2 mobo. I wish to disable PnP in the BIOS.

Um, no you don't.

Can
I do this by setting the "Installed OS" to "other"? There is no
mention of "PnP" anywhere.

If you tell the BIOS that the installed OS does not support plug and
play, you will force the BIOS to do all the plug and play configuration
itself.

Reason is I'm trying to get a framgrabber card (DT3154) to run on it.
The drivers are not being recognized. Tech support for the
framegrabber company (Data Translation) suggests "please try to find
the entry "OS PnP installed" (or similar) in your BIOS setup of the
mainboard. Set this entry to "No" and your problem should be gone. The
DT 3154 does not have a Plug-n-Play capable driver and does not work
if this option is enabled..."

In other words, you need to *enable* plug and play in the BIOS because
if the BIOS doesn't set up the card, nothing will. If you can find a setting
called 'PnP OS Installed', set it to 'no'.
