Old ATC-3050 board
In article , BruceM
writes Yes I realise it is almost antique, but as there are a lot of the old school here, I might just get the info I'm after. The original manual for this Atrends board list the maximum AMD processor (socket7) as being K6 300, but I suspect that a later bios update might have improved this. The bios can't be set manually. It auto detects & sets itself up to suit the processor. Is it possible it might run a K6 500? At present it is running a Cyrix 300. (slowly) Any opinions other than getting one & trying it? BruceM Don't have hands on experience with this board, but being that old maybe it has jumpers on the board that you can mess around with to change the FSB and clock multiplier. -- Peter Ives Remove ALL_STRESS only before sending me an email |
