How to change the processor core voltage for P3/P4 CPU
Hello,
Is it possible to change the processor core voltage for intel P3/P4 CPU? I know we can usually change the frequency from motherboard jumpers or from the BIOS; however, is there similar way to adjust the processor core voltage? I saw some Intel spec for the P3/P4 CPU, it said there are some pins to specify VID(voltage identification) value?! But I am confused, how to do it? Thank you very much. Alice |

I believe some boards let you override the VID pins, and some don't. Why do you want to change it? -- glen |
