SB Live 5.1 Player Drivers

Can anyone please help with regard to drivers for the above card. I cannot
get any sound at all unless I use the drivers that came with the card. It is
an OEM version and I would like to be able to update the drivers to a more
recent version. The signed drivers that ship with XP do not even work. I
have downloaded countless drivers from the Creative site and had no luck
with any of them. Can anyone tell me a driver that works ok with this card
(SB 0100) newer than the version 3509.1.0.0 dated 31/08/2001 that I have. I
also seem to experience intermittent sound, which seems to be caused by the
black line out socket on the card itself. This is the second card of this
type where I have had this problem. The cable seems to need to be in a
precise position for the sound to work, any ideas please.
