Where can I get extra Hard Drive jumpers
Where can I get extra Hard Drive jumpers for IDE/PATA drives that need
them? I've boughten drives from ebay, and they rarely include these jumpers. I'm constantly having to borrow them from other drives that are not in use. I'd like to just buy 10 or 20 of them to have on hand, and be done with it. Can they be purchased anywhere? Thanks |

Thanks Never mind..... Ebay had them too. I bought a pack of 100 of them for $3. More than I'll ever need, but the price was right... Some sellers had packs of 5 or 10 for $5 and up... There are two kinds. 0.1" shorting plugs. And 2mm shorting plugs. Get out your scale (Imperial and/or Metric), and make sure you're ordering the ones you need. Otherwise, you might be a sad panda when the Fedex truck shows up. Paul Uh Oh.... The ones I bought are 2.54mm. Since I dont know how to measure in metric, I dont know.... I think every ad on ebay sold that same size though. Ebay should make a requirement for all sellers to provide both metric and SAE in all ads. |

That's the standard size for most IDE/ATA HDDs. Larc Thats good.... thanks |
