K8V and time keeping

Default K8V and time keeping

my new k8v was not keeping time so i thought the battery is dead replaced
the cmos battery with a good one and its still goes wrong, i mean this
evening i came home it said the year was 8008

the windowsxp time service always says an error occured and atomic clock
sync programs are either not up to the task or need paying for so have i got
a dud mobo? thing is ive thrown all the packaging away so it might be
hard to rma to scan where it was bought from

Obvious question time. Have you done a virus scan?

Obvious question time. Have you done a virus scan?

I have the same mother board and have had it for a week and keeps
really good time.
