The Abit IC7-G should be on the short list. Lots of reviews around singing
it's praises. I have the non-G version, one less SATA controller and non
onboard LAN, and it's a top notch overclocker.

P4C 2.4 @ 3.3ghz, 275x12. 512 megs of Buffalo Tech PC3700 @ 5:4, 220 mhz,
2,3,2,6. Very quick and perfectly stable in every torture test.

yup abit ic7-g and asus pc800E deluxe are the 2 best boards out there (they
are also 875).

good 865 boards include the abit Is7e and asus p4p800 deluxe

also, dump the 2.6 and get a 2.4c, cheaper and probably more overclockabel
especially if u get good ram

I'm quite happy with the DFI LanParty 875Pro. It's very stable, many O/C
options, especially in the latest BIOS, it had many memory timing options
(that matter, hehe). I have the board at 250 MHz now, using a P4 2.6C. I
think it can do more, but that will require more cooling, and i like to have
a relatively quiet PC. Looking into watercooling, though ;-)

Only real disadvantage is the lack of a high memory voltage. The highest you
can select with this board is 2.7, which is a bit poor, compared to the Asus
and Abit boards. But still, my poor old PC2700 RAM manages to achieve 400
MHz, at 2.5 / 3 / 3 / 6 with HPS1 setting (fastest). So i think the lack of
voltage isnt that alarming. It's not too good for the memory anyway, to be
overvolted too much.

Thomas
