Hifi won't play cdr's after OS and software change
Running Windows 98 using Easy CD Creator 4 with my Yamaha 4416S
burner, my three HIFI CD players (Technics 8 years old) (Panasonic 6 years old) (Sony 2 years old) would play ALL burned music CD's using Sony, TDK, BASF and Verbatim media. Upgrading to Windows 2000 Pro I had to switch to Nero Burning as Easy CD Creator 4 wouldn't work. Now I find using the SAME media any NEW stuff I burn won't play in the older (Technics & Panasonic) players. The Sony player has no problems. They all still play the CDR's I burned previously. I tried using Musicmatch software to burn the CDR's but still have the same problem. I also tried burning at a slower spedd (2X) but it makes no difference. Any ideas? Thanks |
