Default Nero6 - no live preview video on capturing ?

I have just upgraded to Nero 6. I have tried to use the capture facility to
directly capture and burn to SVCD. I hear sound (a slight lag from my tv,
because of the encoding) but there's nothing in the black square where i
should be seeing live video of what i'm capturing.

There is no problem with my card (Pinnacle Studio TV) because it works under
lots of other programs, such as captv, smartcap etc.

What am i doing wrong here ?

Cheers
Andy
