Are there any good free USB debugger/analyzer softwares to monitorUSB connection problems?
Hi!
I am trying to figure out why my PS/2 mice (balls and optical; cheap and good brands) pause or sometimes freeze with PS/2+USB splitter adapters. Even with PS/2 keyboards with the adapters, but I don't need them because my motherboard has PS/2 port for keyboards. I don't care if it is Linux, Windows XP Pro. SP3, or a liveCD. Thank you in advance. -- "I don't understand them anymore, these people that travel the commuter-trains to their dormitory towns. These people call themselves human, but, by a pressure they do not feel, are forced to do their work like ants. Don't know of a USB debugger as you request, but have you tried the latest drivers for your device from the manufacturer's web site? |

Having just looked up some of those devices, it looks like no drivers are required for PS/2 USB adapters. Maybe the problem is with your computer's USB hardware. I have found that USB built in to motherboards on low end computers are a bit weak in the power department. Adding a USB expansion card solves that problem. |
