Default no beep codes...

Built a system with a Asus K8N4-E its worked for about 4 to 5 months ok but
now it has stopped working...
When I starteded it up there was no signal going to the monitor so I thought
this was a problem with the graphics card....
there are no beep codes or anything from the system.... I have even taken
out the card and memory to see if I can get any beep codes from it but there
are none...
There is power going to the motherboard as the green light is on.....
If anyone has any advice

Next thing is to try a different power supply.

I've found I'm using a 20 pin psu and the motherboard has a 24 pin connector
I think this is the problem... the maual say you can use a 20 pin psu on the
motherboard...
the board is a K8N4-E.... with a 500 watt psu...
Do you think that changing the psu to 24 pin one will sort out the problem..

Sounds like you fitted the motherboard into an old case. The new
motherboards like plenty of juice so get yourself a new power supply.

Don't forget to plug in the little 4 pin plug from the power supply to the
motherboard either. It will not work without that little sucker left
unplugged.

Try to re-seat the processor... Sounds strange, but I have seen this cure
such a problem before...
