Thanks for the info.

The parts needed are not mentionned on their website, but I contacted all
3 of them to see if they can help find them

sorry my fault, forgot to mention that. at the mean time i try to contact
the guys at acer from my end for locations of any retailers in amercia that
sells certain parts, but don't hold me on this as i donno if the guys that i
worked with are still with acer.

as of now, com-com.co.uk and laptopparts.com don't have these parts
available.
and computerbase.co.uk only sells in the UK...

hopefully i ll get some good news in the next few days from someone.

just wondering, have you tried looking at acer site, somewhere there should
be list of resellers or something like that.

yes, I emailed support twice with the parts number, still no reply.
and still nothing from the other part-resellers I contacted.

i wonder how much longer will my tm800's lcd be hanging on the wall with
cables
it looks a bit 'matrix' but the machine works! oh well... maybe I will
have to have this brackets welded myself!

You should be able to call 800-816-2237 and order the part through
them. This is the normal tech support # for laptops, but they also can
place orders for parts. I had no problem getting an inverter board
ordered for mine even though it is out of warranty. HTH
