I use an A4Tech wireless mouse that has rechargable batteries inside and can be charged while you're using it via a USB cable. It's pretty good. The recharge period is a couple of weeks, and it takes a few hours to charge on the cable. Can you tell us the model and its website? I'd like to check it out. |

Regards Patrick. -- Please reply to Group(s) or Remove CAPS to email. I have a Logitec Wireless Optical and batteries last a good 3 to 4 months. I changed batteries on Valentines day and its still going strong. I got a warning the other day that the batteries are low, but that means I have another week or two to go. Can you tell us the model? I'd like to check it out. |

For example certain "AA" cells don't last at all in certain digital cameras the current is too low see what the mouse manufacturer recommends. claus |

Wouldn't it be great if you didn't need batteries, and that the power from the usb or ps/2 port could be sent wirelessly to the mouse? But alas, maybe some things really are impossible. -- MiniDisc_2k2 to reply, replace nospam.com with cox dot net. |
