old deskpro bios problem

Default old deskpro bios problem

I have an old deskpro, don't no what model but it is 133mhz P1 64ram
utp and I changed the old with a new one and now I can't enter the
bios.
I searched the compaq site but I didn't find anything...
anyone can help ??

People may be able to help if you come up with a model number.

Don't you have any information at all on the underside of the notebook?

DeskPros are desktops, not notebooks. What did you change? The hard drive?
If so, check the Presario FAQ just posted to this newsgroup.

10x for the info

the problem is than I don't no what model of deskpro is
the config is:
P1 133
64mb ram ( maybe upgraded i don't no sure )
video cirrus logic 5446 ( integrated )
lan compaq integrated netFlex-3/P
also it has 3 pci and 3 isa slots
can you tell me what model is ?

I doubt it is the last one. XLs have a separate processor board with the RAM
on that. They are desktops, not towers. They also have EISA slots and only 2
PCI slots, so it likely is one of the first 3.

Default old deskpro bios problem

I found the model no., it is 5133,i've downloaded the bios from the
compaw site and i've run it, it updated the rom, now it recognises my
80 gb hdd but the problem is that i still can't enter the graphical
menu .
Can u help me with this problem? 10x
