Default Nero 5.5 and 'could not perform end of disc at once' errors with DVD+R

Hello,

We are using Nero 5.5.10.42 (I think that is the latest version)
Express and are getting the 'could not perform End of Disc at Once'
error when writing data files to a DVD+R. We are using Verbatim DVD+R
4.7GB media in a NEC ND 1000A DVD/RW drive. This has happened with
earlier versions of Nero as well (5.5.10.21). I don't think it has
anything to do with the hard drive being fragmented. I will check into
that though just in case. Perhaps it is a bug in Nero or a remote
chance that the media is bad? We have recorded 15 DVD+Rs
successfully. But we have also had 7 or 8 unsuccessful burns which is
a bit alarming. Is there a newer version of the firmware for the ND
1000A drive?

If anyone has any pertanent information I would appreciate hearing
about it.

Sincerely,
Mike McWhinney
