Default Help with problem

Hi

I have just built my first computer and have managed (by following a guide)
to get it working and install XP Pro, but have come across a problem that I
can't find the answer to! I have entered the settings in Bios and used auto
detect, but when the pc reboots, the computer switches on, the fan spins,
but the monitor just switches off as in suspend mode. There is no beeps. The
only way I can get the computer to work is to clear CMOS by changing a
jumper and then change it back. The Pc then works fine! I am using:-

Matsonic MS8308E Motherboard
Duron 1300 Processor
128 Meg Pc100 Ram
60 Gig Seagate HD

Thanks in advance for any help.

Dean
