Anyone had any dealings with these characters?

Ordered an Archos AV480 on 29 November at an attractive price £50 cheaper
that the cheapest elsewhere. Listed on their site as 'awaiting stock' but
they immediately pulled the money from my card and it has been 'in stock'
twice since then. My order's still 'awaiting stock', however.

I smell a fish.

I've made three painless orders from them in 12 months if that helps. But
that was all stuff that was in stock and sent immediately.

Lucky you. The latest on my order is I emailed them politely after which
they upped my order to 'shipping' but have put it back to 'awaiting stock'
despite the fact that it is listed as 'in stock' but at a higher price.

This must be close to malpractice, and I'm very close to giving the oft a
call.

Precisely one order, with which I had no trouble at all. One of the reasons
I chose them, though, was that I could get to their shop in Leith if anything
weird happened...

Well, possibly. Taking the money straight away is poor etiquette. Perhaps
they have a long waiting list for this item?
