BigPockets have one for £19.99...
Ebuyer has a generic cheapo one for £14.82 Just looking for a decentish cheap (a branded one such as MSI would be nice) one based on the widcomm stack... If I can't find anything else I migh just go with the Ebuyer one. TIA.. |

TDK or Belkin should be good. I have Belkin and it works great with my T610. -- - Tony Sutton - http://www.hyperboard.co.uk - The Biggest Message Board! ------------------------------------------------------------- Exercise your right to arm and keep bears! ------------------------------------------------------------- |

I have Belkin and it works great with my T610. I second that motion! I bought an MSI dongle, and while its pretty good they're a bit poor at updating the drivers (see thread below), i.e. the latest drivers that TDK and Belkin have had out for a couple of months have only just been released by MSI (the last release of driver came out in May 2003 I think; so they skipped a couple of updates in between too!). Personally, I'd plump for the TDK dongle if I was gonna buy one again, you can find it for around 35 quid if you look around. However, if cash really is an issue the MSI dongle is ok, and dabs.com do it for around 25-quid I think (the MS-6967) and the widcomm drivers up to this point have been hackable if you really want the latest versions (which is what I've done up till now). If you go with a "generic cheapo" one, expect to never get it working properly (and if you do manage it, you're probably in the lucky few) 'cause bluetooth is damn testy at the moment. When there's eventually operating system level support of bluetooth, then the "generic cheapo"'s will become more of an option. |

Got the blue monkey (windigo) usb bluetooth adapter about £ 20 ex VAT to pair with T610 worked great once the blue manager 3.0a software was installed which you can download from www.windigosys.com password is oy1773go wouldn`t use for internet sharing or Personal Area Networking however I would recommend the TDK but I wouldn`t use bluetooth for this purpose - but for PC Mobile phone for file transfer / dial up you can`t really go wrong with any adapter once you have the drivers sorted out. Range is very good too. |

The varlet known as Nick Le Lievre did proclaim to all assembled:
pair with T610 worked great once the blue manager 3.0a software was installed which you can download from www.windigosys.com Apart from the drivers, of course, will the other software work via another dongle? -- FrJack 96 Tiger 900 - Red |
