Problems with QLogic HBA API: HBA_STATUS_ERROR_MORE_DATA
Hello,
We are running into problems with our QLogic HBA API libraries. We get the following error when trying to exercise it: "HBA_STATUS_ERROR_MORE_DATA" The QLogic API guide says this is returned when the allocated buffer is insufficient. Our configuration: - running these Qlogic kernel modules: qla2400 qla2xxx - On top of that we freshly downloaded and installed Qlogic HPA API libraries: FC & FCoE Driver (x86/x64/IA64) 8.02.14.01 - All on this Linux kernel: 2.6.9-67.Elsmp x86_64 Suggrestions/fixes for this problem? TIA, John |

Problems with QLogic HBA API: HBA_STATUS_ERROR_MORE_DATA
We are running into problems with our QLogic HBA API libraries. We get the
following error when trying to exercise it: "HBA_STATUS_ERROR_MORE_DATA" The QLogic API guide says this is returned when the allocated buffer is insufficient. After getting such an error, try to allocate more buffer space and re-call the same API with this larger buffer. -- Maxim S. Shatskih Windows DDK MVP http://www.storagecraft.com |
