Default Overclocking help - Athlon XP 2600

Hello everyone. My dorm had a brown out and my computer was stuck in a
continuous reboot cycle for a few minutes. When I powered it up later
I noticed it was running at 1.2 GHz. I guess the overclock settings
got reset at some point. I tried changing the front side bus speed
first to 166 and later to 133 MHz (with multiplier set to auto), and
the system appeared to be running faster, but every time I tried it I
got random lockups within 20 seconds of Windows loading. Is there
another setting somewhere that I need to set?

Thanks for the help.

You need to reduce your multiplier and probably increase your voltage.
Did someone else do the overclock for you the first time?

I bought the computer used, so I believe it was already done.
