Default XP2800: barton vs t'bred

I recently ordered an XP2800 thoroughbred and got sent an XP2800 barton.

I should be delighted with the barton having 512kb and all, but I've lost
about 200mhz and might as well have bought an XP2600(?)

So are there any credible comparisons (ie benchmarks) of the two so I can
see what I've gained/lost?

Also, does the barton o/c better, and is it cooler?

As I understand it, even although it's clocked slightly slower, the extra
256Kb cache helps it pull ahead. In addition, there are other optimizations
in the Barton core which give it a slight edge over the Thoroughbred core.
I believe Anandtech and Toms Hardware review the series of Barton cores on
AMD.

No idea about O/Cing, or whether it's cooler or not.

The Barton 2800+ is better for business software and other software
where the extra cache really helps, but the Thoroughbred 2800+
is better where the extra cache doesn't of the Barton doesn't
help much, and the extra clock speed of the Thoroughbred
puts it in the lead. The Barton 2800+ does use less power
than the Thoroughbred 2800+. The Barton 2800+ would imo
probably overclock better. As for reviews, here is a link to one.

The XP2800+ Thoroughbreds were made in limited numbers,
and are hard to find.
