Can a motherboards bios be upgraded to support faster CPUs? How?
Hi
The subject says it all. Heres the info on my motherboard: System Manufacturer : VIA Technologies, Inc. Model : VT8363 ID : FFFFFFFF-FFFFFFFF-FFFFFFFF-FFFFFFFF Mainboard Manufacturer : Jetway MP Support : No Model : 8363A-686B System BIOS : 12/14/2001-8363A-686B-6A6LMJ19C-00 Chipset : VIA KT133/A The manual says this motherboard will support an authlon up to 1.33GHz, can the bios be upgraded to support faster CPUs? What BIOS upgrade would I need? (I find jetways web site confusing) Thanks F |
