Default Lockable bus

I'm looking for a new motherboard for my rig. one with a lockable
pci,agp bus. Cuse I cant seem to be stable with the pci bus going over
145/36 mHz voltige increase dosent help. Perfectly stable at this speed
but as soon as I go to 146/37 mHz. All **** breaks loose. lockups while
booting, crashing while idle. I'm guessing its eather the agp or a pci
divice giving me ****. So What is a Good mobo for my needs?

My specs:
ASUS A7V266-e
1700+xp (pallimo)
512 MB genaric ram(2-2-2-5)
40Gb seagate baracuda
60gp IBM
ATI 8500 64MB

TIA

Ive got the same board

I can do a 140 and its stable, i can got to 145 but not stable, its
the board, i gave up on overclocking it and plonked in a XP2400
works at a real 2Ghz.

I would give up on overclocking it and saveup for a new board ram ect
and get a AMD 64 3400 or what ever when the time comes.

Not sure about the board someone will help you their.

Bye.

I'am just running it stock now.
