RE; ATI 8500 LE video issue
Hello,
I just upgraded my system to a P4 and I've been installing and playing some of my games only I have noticed the display seams to be darker than when I was running the CUSL2-C. I've even had to turn up the gamma on a few of them to see what's going on. Any ideas? I've listed the new system spec's before in the group but I will add here for reference. I ran cpu-z on it and can foward the info if needed. InWin 500A case P4 3.2 Northwood (overclocked to 3.6) Kingston 1Gb (2X512) 530 Watt Power supply Asus P4C800-E Deluxe Vantec CPU cooler -w- artic silver paste Maxtor 40 GB IDE (not sata) Running Windows XP Pro -w- sp1 and current patches Dx9a installed Maxtor 120 GB (not sata) Western Digital 30 GB LG CD-RW USB 4 port hub -w- HP scanner and HOTAS, Webcam and printer to motherboard USB ports. Webcam isn't showing video but I think it's the cam as all other usb items are working. I don't think it matters but I have no internal modem installed, the parallel and serial ports are turned off. Any idea what a good working CUSL2-C -w- PIII 1GHz, 512 PC133 SDRAM (Micron brand) and Sound blaster live or Audigy Gamer card is worth? I'm considering putting it on eBay. On a side note: I plan on upgrading to two SATA HDD's to the above after the first of May. ME |
