Default No answers to upgrade 1230 notebook ??

Has anyone an answer to my problem?

Hello,

I have a Compaq Presario notebook 1230. OS W 95.
I want to put it into my network.using a silicom USB ethernet adapter.
I also want to connect a laserprinter XEROX 4510 to that laptop

The silicom USB ethernet adapter only runs on W 98 (SE?)
When I try to install W 98 the running OS does not allow this.
Formatting does not work eather.

I want to connect this laptop in my network, use the printer as a network
printer and connect to the internet.

Has anyone a solution?

Greetz,

Eugène
