AMD 2600 running at 1243 mhz
I just bought and built a shuttle SN45G with a AMD 2600 CPU.
Everything went well except (big except) my AMD 2600 is running only at 1243 mhz. That is the speed that is being recognized by the computer and by the AMD utility that is suppose to tell you the speed independant of any bios issues. Any ideas. Is there something I shoud try or did I get a bad CPU. Thanks Mark |

If it's supposed to run at 133Mhz, then it may be running at 100Mhz, instead. If it's supposed to be running at 166Mhz, then it may be running at 133Mhz instead. So try and bring up the input clock speed one setting higher. Yousuf Khan |
