They were suggestions by Elector, and I had his permission to use (or plagerized) his suggestions. Therefore I again ask you politely to not use my faqs in whole or in part, without my express written consent. Also, please remove any part of my faqs that you used on your Yahoo group. If you want, you can put a link on your group, pointing to my FAQs for the ALT.SYS.PC-CLONE.PACKARDBELL group. The link you can use is.... http://pbfaq.tripod.com/ Regards, Anthony |

It seems there are two FAQs now. Neither is an original work, but both are
editorial compilations. I have read both of them. One is better written and more professional. Good job to the Editor. BTW, there was a claim of copyright. I would like some evidence of this claim, otherwise please retract your statement. |

It seems the original claim of a copyright was incorrect. That person has now
admitted to this NG that he/she plagerized. There is no protection given to the poisoned fruit. |

My Faq, is original work created by me. If it is not my "ORIGINAL" work, please elobrate on this point. My Faq is owed by me, maintained by me, and is not to be copied in whole or in part by "RTFM". I spent a couple of weeks writing the FAQs for this newsgroup, so it would make things much eaiser for "newbies" to this group to post. Now "RTFM" comes along, steals my faq only to casue more disruption to this group. This group was a very nice place to post before "RTFM" came along. Go back to the GOOGLE archives of this group before "RTFM" was here and see for your self. If "RTFM" felt there needed to be some additions or changes to the FAQ, he could have simply posted them to the group, and I would have probably added them to the FAQs. The evidence of my claim to have a copyright of my work is from US and International copyright laws. Under the Berne copyright convention, which almost all major nations have signed, every creative work is copyrighted the moment it is fixed in tangible form. No notice is necessary, though it helps legal cases. No registration is necessary, though it's needed later to sue. The copyright lasts until 50 years after the author dies. 1. My FAQ has been fixed in tangiable form A. It is posted @ http://pbfaq.tripod.com B. It is on the Google Groups archives C. I have it saved on a CDROM D. I have a printed hard copy of the FAQ Does that clear it up? Regards, Anthony |

I had permission from Elector to use his suggestions, and I did. Where as RTFM had no permission to use my FAQ in whole or in part, but he did anyway. Regards, Anthony |
