Default DVD player update

Read my original post. That is the only info I have posted re this issue.
Can you tell which company I bought this DVD player from?

Probably not very easily.

Well, a senior member of staff from the company read it, e-mailed me, and
asked if it was one of their DVD players - and he was right!!!

Well, one e-mail, and one phone call from him later, I have a courier coming
to do a swap on wednesday for a better model for no extra charge.

Ok so I had to raise the issue before it was sorted, but I can only say that
I am very impressed by this level of service. I explained to him that I
really needed it in the next couple of days, and although these are my
reasons, and not really their problem, he was very understanding, and
prepared to listen.(something very rare these days!)

Well done ARIA!

Nice one Rob Ditchfield!

I would agree that it would have been "Well done ARIA!" if they had reacted
like this in the first instance . . . still at least you got sorted in the
end.

Yes, but you have to be impressed that from the info in my original post,
somebody took the time to sort it on the off chance it might be one of
theirs.

1. Sounds like someone might have a guilty conscience
2. It shouldn't take a NG post for a retailer to provide a half decent level
of customer service

Either that or they have a batch of them with the same fault, and are
still sending them out to customers in the hope that not all return :-}

Rob is very good.

I'm sure when Rob leaves so do half of the companies customers.

Regards.
