Default Freecom 14480

Guys, wonder whether any of you can help me with a problem.

I purchased my freecom 8x4x32 internal CD/RW approx. Dec. 2000 and
installed on my Windows 98 PC (which by then was only about 12 months
old). No problems there.

I've now upgraded to a more modern PC, which has Windows XP and an
already installed DVD/RW.

Okay, no problems, I removed what I needed from my "old" PC, before
binning it, which of course included my freecom internal CD/RW.

My intention is to install this on my Dad's PC, which is Windows 95. I
have installed as a slave CD/RW as there is an existing CD ROM already
installed.

All appears to be fine, the freecom is receiving power, the tray opens
and closes and the other CD ROM works fine as a master. However, I
think that I've lost the drivers necessary to install this to function
correctly, as Windows 95, is unable to "see" the new CD/RW as drive e:

Are there any drivers available for Windows 95, or what would people
suggest would be the best way forward.

Does anybody know whether there are any "generic" drivers out there
which would be suitable, and, also does anybody have a copy of the
manual (as I lost mine a long time ago), so that I can make sure I've
got the jumper's in the correct position.

Thanks

Ian

Delete all device references for the problem drive in 'Device Manager',
then reboot and allow the system to redetect the unit; it *should* then
be shown as a normal CD-ROM again... You already prove via the working
drive WIN has the necessary and functional 'driver'.
