Default Parralle to USB converted is this possible ???


Just have a Parralle scanner, and i would if possible make it usb ?

Is this possible, i kno wi have seen the adaptors.

If yes, please explain how ??

Are all the electonics in the plug ?

or somthing.

This one is on sale for $13. I bought one and my HP LJ 4050 works fine with
it.
I'm sure one can be bought in your country.
It comes with a diskette with Win98 & Me drivers. XP provides its own
drivers.

Make sure these things support a scanner.

I keep seeing "use this converter for your printer in order to free up the
parralell port for your scanner" mentioned.

Have never seen a parallel to usb adapter that will work with anything but
printers. Before you try, be sure to check with the manufacturer to make
sure it will work with scanners as well as printers.
