Default XPS deals

What kind of deals has Dell offered on XPS systems? They're showing
the 410 at $200 off today, doesn't seem like a particularly good deal
compared to the $350 and 30-40% discounts I've seen on other
systems...

Yes, Dell has been offering $300-$350 off $999+ Dimension systems...and free
shipping as well.

Usually Dell doesn't offer any deals on XPS systems but once in awhile
there are some. The Dell outlet is a good place to find some really
good prices on XPS systems. At the outlet though, watch it for a few
days until you see what the good deals are.

The Dell XPS M1210 laptop is going to be updated, according to a link
someone posted here a few weeks ago. Depending on your needs, the
$200 off right now might be a good deal.

The newer M1210 is rumored to have a LED screen and slot-loading DVD.
IMO that will be a very attractive notebook to have especially if it
results in better battery life and / or if it's smaller and lighter.
