Got the following this afternoon, is it spam? or is the individual simply
confused as to the identity of ebuyerdotcon? it ain't me (thankfully)!

Hi,
Sorry to hassle you but I was just wonder why the ebuyerdotcon website is
not there anymore?

Ebuyer just sent me the wrong item and according to their website I have to
pay to return it?
I have sent them an enote telling them they will have to pay as it is there
fault - will wait and see. If not will just threaten to dispute the payment
with my credit card company!

Hope your website comes back soon!

Not really spam per se, but I'd guess the originator got your e-mail
from a usenet posting and either picked the wrong article or somehow
confused you as the author of the site.
