Default SPAM ..... from Aria ???

I receive a regular 'heads-up' email from Aria for special offers et al,
but today have received UCE from uk-i.com, who it seems have formed an
alliance with Aria .... ?

A suitable response was returned (i.e. **** off) and i will be
considering severing my ties with Aria if i deem such action to be
appropriate.

Clearly, you endorse SPAM, as it matters not to you that another UCE has
appeared, potentially from a well known online vendor.

No i don't endorse spam i would have simply emailed Aria about it not come
here whining like a ****wit and making pathetic threats. You sad f***

That's interesting because I see you coming here, whining like a ****wit,
and making pathetic insults.

Not too far away really is it?

bit like that you're doing?
I don't agree with any of the posts posted although i did also thought the
OP was a
bit OTT and was a 'ooh look at me' post.
He could have emailed Aria instead of getting on his high horse threatening
to sever ties!.

So, you think i was wrong to post about a potential SPAM from an online
vendor....?

What about the multitude of other posts that have appeared about CCL,
Evesham et al quite recently?? They were wrong too i guess?

You need to read my post more closely, and realise it was a "heads up"
'alert' that Aria *might* be going down the line of one or two of their
competitors, and if they were, AFAIWC, they could f**k off.

What possible use *to the group* would it have been if i had emailed
Aria? I might have got some lame reply from Aria, and then what?

As it happens, the UCE i got has caused Aria great concern, and this
might not just be UCE we are talking about. There may be fraudulent use
of their business name.

So, you'd prefer me to email some unknowing, uninformed customer service
rep at Aria who politely replies with an apology, and it goes no
further? Or i post here, and "the main man" Rob gets involved ...

I know which side i preferred the coin to drop from the outset, and it's
clear that maybe i have a greater dislike for SPAM than some.

OK, my personal intentions on the matter may not have been appropriate,
but in the heat of the moment, i was incensed at the possibility Aria
may have been responsible for UCE, especially given the recent
heightened interest in Evesham, CCL et al that have appeared in this
very group.

Threatening to not use insert vendor here again has appeared in many
of the posts concerning involving other vendors who have sent UCE, but
because i put it a different way (that i would sever ties) i get
involved in an all out 'f**k you' flame war?

And as for the "oooh look at me" part .... great, thanks for the
unnecessary comment. The groups interests were always a greater interest
than mine, but i'll remember to look out for numero uno the next time!
Social elevation was not on the agenda.

Hell, i love Usenet.

I think you did the right thing. At least is highlights that Aria are
concerned, the other company seem dodgy and that anyone else who
received this spam in this NG here know its not Aria too.

Alright it could have been worded a bit better but thats usenet for
you.
