Compaq Presario 4402 Quick Restore Problem
When booting from the Quick Restore floppy I get the error message:
ATAPI IDE CD DRIVE DRIVER V2.00a Unable to detect drive. Driver not loaded However, prior to this, when the power switch is first turned on, the keyboard and CD drive lights come on momentarily. How do I solve this problem so I can restore the computer to original software condition? Might I need to enter BIOS and restore default settings? How do I do this? |
