Default Fan controlers what one's do you recomend ??

Ive got this stock 120mm fan, rated at 45db at 12 volt, somthing like
108 to 120 cfm i think.

ITS A TORNADO, in CFM and noise.

I installed it with rubber bands to cut down the noise worked, but
even at 7 volts its noisy.

How low a voltage can i run a 120 mm fan ??.

At 7 volts i think this fan pushes like 40 to 50 cfm i think, tell me
if you think i'am wrong, so alittle lower voltage will allow more than
enough cooling.

5 volts and i think it would be nearly quiet enough, with the rubber
band mounting.

And when playing LOUD games the Fan controler can allways knock it up
to 7 volts or more

Thanks for any help you may give.

BYE BYE.
