DVI is better than analogue, but not by far. I'm running two TFT's side by
side where one is DVI and the other analogue. If you stare at edges, the dvi
looks more solid and doesn't have the occasional feather than the analogue
does.. however I'm just being anal at this stage, there's next to no
difference!

However, all graphics cards will be moving to DVI only - and it's best to
future proof yourself now with a DVI compatible monitor. I hear that DVI can
support much higher resolutions, but this is just a rumour IIRC....
