Windows Xp Home Editon, Office Xp Professional and Photoshop 7 all
installed on a 10 gig drive for £50.

What makes me laugh is the gif of the flaming HOT!. Yeah bet they are
too.

Let alone the XBox drives unlocked and with games installed.

Decided for a laugh to ask if the s/w comes with licences :-)

I asked this question a few weeks ago when he had the same offer on, and I
think you can guess the answer :-)

He was playing dumb, saying that they were from a clearance and that's what
was on there. He said the software was only on the hard drive and that's all
you got, just the hard drive with the software already installed.

Heh, so he was playing dumb whilst advertising that the software is
already installed :-) Fair enough they may well haev been a clearance
but that gives no excuse to wipe them. Though I would be *very*
suspect of a machine pre installed with XP and only 10 gig of disk
space, let alone Photoshop 7 & Office XP Pro as well.

Odd that that was also the same combination as came with the "worst
ever terms" machine. Perhaps they sourced the same "installation"
disk.

Sounds like someone trying to shift some old tat by dumping a load of
warez on them.

Would the Win XP set even work if shoehorned into a new PC anyway as
the keygenerator would notice a major shift in the hardware (unless it
was an OEM version installed without they key, which would be dodgy
anyway).

Got an email reply along the lines of "I bought them from a shop and
they came like that, its all proper s/w just no paper work". Heh, any
reputable seller would format the hard drives.

well, unless they're the installer files they wouldn't be much good to you,
would they? boot off this in another PC and it's going to go tits up as it
finds itself in strange motherboard...!

Depends whats installed. I would be very supprised if they are not the
installation sets that were "found" on the HD.

Even then it would still be possible to extract the files for say PS7
off there (just look at the uninstall script for a start).
