PCLINCS.CO.UK - BEWARE !

wrote: 1) Don't cross-post but I now have to since you are defaming a good vendor withohut due cause. 2) PCLincs are not "no-namers without a reputation to protect" but a well-respected vendor with open forums where you could have taken this complaint. The fact that you chose to spread this all over Usenet is illuminating. 3) You are seriously suggesting that PLincs sold you a processor with no physical defects (surely you checked it was OK when you were applying paste?) you mounted a heatsink, removed the chip, removed the paste, sent it back to PCLincs who then deliberately broke the chip? They say it was damaged. That means it cannot be returned to AMD for refund so you think they should eat the cost of the chip? Your actions are that of a child who hasn't got his way. PCLincs have an excellent reputation for specialist products such as water-cooling and their prices are as good as anyone else in that market in the UK. You bought an OEM chip, you tried to use it and it is now damaged. Why is that anyone else's fault? DISCLAIMER: Although I have bought from PCLincs I do not work for them or have any material interest it the outcome of this. I do not like unsubstantiated attacks on vendors on Usenet or anywhere else. Here here I have just recently made a purchase from PCLincs. The radiator I ordered was in but faulty so they upgraded the the rad to the next best model. Great Service and Great Communication Regards Keith Watch out for spamtrap to reply |
