Default Where to get a draytek router?

I know one of you knowledgeable people will have the answer
as I don't seem to be getting many hits.

After a draytek router (2800 range) and my usual suspects
don't seem to have them (novatech, amazon and a couple of
other - no flame wars but will not bu from dabs!).

Suggestions appreciated, have a good day and TIA

Not necessarily the cheapest: www.seg.co.uk
Bought a few 2600s over the years from: www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk

I was just thinking how wonderful life was, when linker3000
opened his gob and said:

They are definitely not the cheapest, but they are the official
importers (or were the last I checked). They would not 'price match'
another supplier so lost the sale.

I wanted one, but read way too many reviews saying that they keep
disconnecting.

I got my Draytek 2600 from http://www.dsl-warehouse.co.uk and they do have
2800 listed.

I own a draytek 2800, and purchased it as a result of many years problem
free use of a Draytek 2600.
The 2800 was no problem and never disconnected until I upgraded to BT MAX,
after that the router would keep disconnecting, although recently it has
been much much better.

They are very good routers, and as to who you should buy it from, I 'll
leave that for the rest of the group to discuss.

Nigel - If you want to ask any specific questions about the router then
email me directly.

Thanks
Paul Sharrock

Thanks to all for the info (and understand the BTMax issue,
fortunately not an issue at work but having "fun" with that
at home without a draytek router).

As I'd come up with dsl-warehouse & transparent I'll look
thro them again with some more confidence.

Enjoy your time!

Transparent Communications are bloody crap, they refuse to refund
postage when you return faulty goods and attempt to charge restocking
fees on faulty goods.
