Anyone tried installing the 64 bit version of Vista on your Core Duo
processor?

No it's not since that's not a "current" CPU. Hell, I have a P6 200 lying
around somewhere. Should I add that to the confusion?

No it's not since that's not a "current" CPU. Hell, I have a P6 200 lying
around somewhere. Should I add that to the confusion?


Don't know if it's current in Intel's catalog, but there are certainly still
quite a number of Core (non-2) Duo and Core Solo laptops left in the
pipeline and available for sale. Heck, there are some Pentium M laptops in
the pipeline... though I suspect those are at least all Dothan not Banias.
