NEC dvd
I see good reports on NEC dual format dvd -- that makes me wonder why
PCWORLD doesn't have NEC on their top 5 or 10 list? (Let's limit the conspiracy theorists to half a dozen posts, eh.) thanks for your input - it's time to buy something Bill |

It is a top drive tho, burn quality is exemplary and it would appear that the firmware from the 2510 can be flashed into it, making it dual-layer capable when such media becomes more readily available. Hellraiser........ |

Hellraiser........ If you are talking about the 2500A I bought one a couple months ago for $100. Now they are about $80. I can't believe any other drive could be any better and for the price it is a great buy. |

The average PC World reader wants the box, instructions, cables and software. Note they rate the TDK 880N, which uses the NEC chipset. At about twice the price....... And, NEC doesn't advertise in PCWorld. Dave |
