Default need a new cctv camera

hey everyone/regs

my cctv system has been seriously damaged by the council doing some work on
my garden and i need a replacement camera, since the council are paying for
it i want to find a really good cctv camera possibly an ip camera but it
must have pan/tilt/zoom ... doesnt have to be web based and could even have
a seperate wireless remote controller for it.

so anyone in here got a good camera in use they want to recommend. i find
its always best to ask the people that actually use them.

now as most of you know ive been around here a long time and have extensive
knowledge of cctv and webcams etc,,,,, and ive looked here and there for
bargain cameras but for a change someone else is paying. so i dont care if
it costs a lot.

any help?

regards the slayer

It is indeed strange times we live in....an African-American is elected
President of the USA and The Slayer is asking for help!!! :-)
Hi Dave....never thought I would see this day! I can't help I am afraid
as my knowledge of PTZ cameras is just about non existant (and IP
cameras even less!).
I have no doubt though that after all the help you have given people
over the years, someone will come to your aid.
I will watch with interest.

hi kim

well i have found some really good ptz cameras over the years but theres
nothing better than experience, and yes its strange im aksing for help but
like you know its knowledge gained by others that is the real helpful
advice.

anyway its nice for a change to be able to spend up too £300 or so on a
single camera, so might as well get a good one!

nice to see the regs are still here doing their thing, i tend to stray from
group to group but always end up back at the best ones lol.

i have found these ::

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=024

and if i dont get any recommendations, ill buy enuff of these to cover the
300 sponders.

if anyone has one of these or used one let me know how good/bad they are.

kim ,,, nice to hear from you.... respect as always
